Designed by Giambattista Bodoni in 1798, Bodoni remains one of the most beloved of typefaces. As timeless as the day it was designed, it's no coincidence that Bodoni and its myriad Modern cousins remain the faces of choice in the fashion industry.

Bauer Bodoni, our choice for the new "I Love Bodoni" shirt was designed by Heinrich Jost for Frankfurt's Bauer Type Foundry in 1926. 84 years later many consider it to be the most delicate and graceful of all Bodonis, approaching Didot in its thick thin contrasts and minimalist tone.
